Safe Re-Opening Guidelines

10 GUIDELINES TO A SAFE APPOINTMENT

By Request Only:

I do not take walk-ins or same day appointments at this time. Due to the fluidity of the pandemic, I am able to perform services by request or appointment ONLY.

1-on-1 Appointments

Please leave friends, family, children and pets at home. Unless they are receiving services as well. In order to practice safe social and physical distancing in the salon I will not be double booking appointments (meaning servicing other guests outside of your home during processing time).

Sanitized & Disinfected

I allow time in my schedule to sanitize and disinfect all tools and surfaces after every guest(s) appointment. I also do a thorough clean at the start and end of my work day. I have an air purifier with UV running at all times and make sure to change the filter  often.

Text or Call to Check-in

The main entrance is no longer locked during certain business hours. I may still be with a guest upon your arrival. Please call or text so I know you have arrived for your appointment. There is seating in the hallway to wait on. If you prefer you may wait in your car or outside and I will respond when I am ready to escort you in.

Masks are Optional

Both you and I are no longer required to wear a mask for the duration of the service(s) if fully vaccinated. A mask with ear loops is preferred if you are choosing to wear one. I do have disposable masks upon request as to not soil your cloth mask during color service(s). I will also wear a mask upon request if you are more comfortable in that setting.
Personal Hygiene

Wash & Sanitize

Wash and Sanitize your hands often. I have hand sanitizer readily available in my suite. The Phenix Salon Suites also have bathroom facilities stocked with hand soap and the entrances have hand sanitizer dispensers on the walls for you to use upon your arrival and departure of the building.

Clean Capes & Towels

I have always used a fresh cape and clean towels on every guest. Soiled capes and towels are stored in a separate, labeled, closed bin and laundered by the end of each work day. Once clean, they are stored in a closed, clean and labeled cabinet ready to use during your service(s).
Espresso and Cookies

Guest Amenities

In the past I provided snacks, a coffee bar and water bottles. Food and drinks have been removed at this time to avoid contact and exposure risk. It is recommended you bring your own water bottle and if you are receiving a color or chemical treatment you are more than welcome to bring your own snacks. Phenix Salon Suites also provides water fountains if you would like to refill your water.
Credit Card

Payment  Options

I use Square systems for processing all major credit/debit cards. Yes, I accept AMEX! Cash or Card is my preferred method of payment. Signature screen has been disabled to reduce contact and exposure risk. A digital receipt can be provided via text or email. I am no longer accepting check or Venmo.

Pre-book  Online

Before you leave I like to discuss maintenance, longevity of the style/color and the next steps for a follow up appointment. Pre-booking your next appointment is recommended as my schedule does fill fast. I encourage my guests to utilize online booking. I use the Vagaro online booking system. Download the app to your smart phone and pre-book at your earliest convenience.
